The Sport and Recreation Opportunities Fund: Provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 to community organizations to purchase equipment for the implementation and delivery of community-based sport and recreation programs or for projects that will build the leadership capacity within community organizations to enhance recreation and sport programming. The intake is from May 1, 2015 and received until September 18, 2015. With one allocation made by the end of June and the other in October.

Sport Manitoba, "Sport for Life" Grant Manual: Several grants are available to help you and those in your community defray the costs associated with sport.

KidSport™ Equipment/Funding Applications: Based on demonstrated need, assistance of up to $300 per individual is available to children ages 18 and under to help offset the cost of registration fees. Based on demonstrated need, equipment is available to eligible KidSport applicants who have been identified by their Provincial Sport Organizations.

MASRC Aboriginal Athlete Scholarship: Scholarships are awarded to sixteen Aboriginal students who have demonstrated a commitment to sport in Manitoba. DEADLINE TO APPLY – MAY 31st, 2015

MASRC Aboriginal Coach Scholarship: Scholarships are awarded to two Aboriginal students who have demonstrated a commitment to coaching in Manitoba .DEADLINE TO APPLY - MAY 31st, 2015
